I’ve always been intentional about the kind of life I wanted to build. I never wanted a life where I was counting down to weekends or vacations—I wanted to
enjoy every day. That dream has guided me and become a passion in helping others do the same.
Growing up, I saw two very different experiences with work. My dad owned a restaurant, which meant long hours, but also flexibility. He was the one who took me to practices, games, and activities. My mom worked a traditional 9-to-5 job for decades. She worked incredibly hard, but that structure didn’t allow her the same freedom, and there were plenty of moments she wanted to be there and simply couldn’t. Even as a kid, I noticed that difference, and I knew I didn’t want that to be my story.
That awareness carried into adulthood. A rigid career path wasn’t for me. I wanted control over my time, no ceilings on what I could build, and the freedom to structure my life how I wanted, so I enjoyed every day. That’s what led me into real estate in 2014. It gave me the ability to work for myself and build a career that could grow alongside my life instead of competing with it. And the best part? I genuinely love what I do.

Everyone’s dream is a little different. For some, that looks like finding a dream home where family and friends gather and create memories. For others, it means making smart investments, creating passive income, or building equity to support a more secure financial future. I genuinely love being part of that process and helping my clients move closer to the life they want.
A few years into my real estate career, I gained even more clarity on what matters most. My dad had a heart attack. He’s okay today, but it put a sense of immediacy on the plans my now-husband, David, and I had. We wanted a life together, but that moment made us stop treating those plans like something that could wait. It accelerated our decision to get married and start a family because we wanted to make sure our kids would have time with the people who mattered most to us. We didn’t want to keep saying “someday.” We wanted to start building the life we talked about, now.
Becoming a mother made intentionality even more important, from how I structure my business to how I spend my time and energy. I put systems and support in place so my business could grow without requiring me to be physically everywhere at once. The goal was never to work less; it was to work with support, purpose, and sustainability.
Because of the life I’ve built, I get to homeschool my kids, Jayce and Khalil. We love being outdoors and enjoy everything from the ocean to the mountains, whether that’s hiking, snowboarding, beach days, or staying in on a rainy Washington day watching movies.
I also coach a premier girls’ soccer team and my son’s team. Coaching has become one of the most rewarding things I’m a part of because I get to help kids develop confidence, learn teamwork, and push through challenges while building grit and perseverance. Soccer was my life growing up, and I learned firsthand that the confidence and skills you develop on the field stay with you for a lifetime.
I’ve found my passion as a leader and coach. That applies to real estate for my clients and agents I work with. My heart doesn’t beat for selling houses—it beats for helping people grow in confidence or level up their lives in a meaningful way. And real estate gives me the opportunity to do that. I love helping clients feel informed and empowered through big decisions, and I enjoy supporting other agents as they grow into their potential. It all comes back to helping people live intentional, enjoyable lives.
Over the years, I’ve learned the importance of adapting, leading with intention, and offering guidance while still empowering people to make their own decisions. Those skills shape my approach to real estate. I strive to create experiences that aren’t just successful on paper, but ones that my clients feel good about long after closing.
I don’t rush people or push decisions that don’t align with their goals. I provide clear communication, honest guidance, and walk clients through each step of the process so they understand their options and feel confident making informed decisions. I take the time to explain details that are often overlooked, answer questions thoroughly, and help clients think through both the short- and long-term impact of their decisions.
With over a decade of experience in real estate, I bring a deep understanding of the buying and selling process, market shifts, and how to navigate decisions strategically. And having lived in this area most of my life—and now raising my family here—I understand the communities, schools, amenities, and day-to-day realities that impact family life. I’m here to help you make real estate decisions that support the life you want to live!
Sincerely,

Lauren Quackenbush
